Studio Policies

Location: Our studio is located at 2469 Front Rd inside of a private residence. We do not have walk-in hours and will book by appointment only. Please use our online booking service with Fresha. Please knock on the door and wait for an artist to greet you. There is NO washroom available at our studio so please plan your visit accordingly.

Arrival: Please do NOT arrive any earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We only offer private individual appointments. Our studio is shared with a personal residence, please be respectful. No washroom is available.

Guests: The studio space we work in, is small and seating is limited. My apologies, but unfortunately we can NOT accommodate guests at your appointment. Please come to your appointment on your own, or ask your guests to wait elsewhere.

Payments: In order to keep appointments running on time, payments may be completed prior to start of services. In-studio accepted payments are cash, debit, and credit, processed securely within the Fresha app. Wedding packages are emailed an invoice via Fresha, which accepts Canadian credit cards or a visa debit card. For On-location services we accept exact cash OR Tap-to-pay which is processed securely within the Fresha app. A mobile terminal can be brought on request only. No change will be provided when on-location. All services and products are subject to GST/HST.

Appointments: all studio appointments are booked through the Fresha app no later than 24 hours in advance and require entering a credit card with deposit. I have NO WALK-IN hours, and therefore do not take walk-in appointments.

Booking Policy, Cancellations, No-Shows/No-Call: Upon booking via the Fresha app, all clients are required to submit a 30% deposit up front upon booking. Phone call appointments can be accommodated, however if you do not confirm with a card on file and deposit in 24 hours, your appointment will be cancelled. As a small business, our schedule is solely based on appointments. Therefore cancellations, late cancellations, or no-show/no-call’s can be extremely disruptive and we are unlikely to fill your time-slot with a new client. To allow appointments to run smoothly and in fairness to us and other clients we would greatly appreciate at least 24hrs notice of any cancellation or alterations to any appointments. You can manage your appointment via the Fresha app. We understand emergencies and situations beyond your control can sometimes happen, but it is very difficult to fill an appointment last minute with little/no notice. For clients who cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the studio strictly enforces a 30% fee based on your appointment rate. For clients who no-show/no-call, the studio strictly enforces a 50% fee based on your appointment rate. Multiple cases of a client who is unable to adhere to this policy will NOT be re-booked for future services.
